Demo: Get to know shapes

Office demo Watch the demoDemo icon

Shapes are the heart of any diagram in Visio, whether it’s a flowchart, an organizational chart, or a diagram of your new house. Shapes represent objects, actions, and ideas. After you arrange and connect shapes, visual relationships appear.

There are two types of shapes in Visio - one-dimensional (1-D) and two-dimensional (2-D) shapes - and they behave in specific ways when it comes to communicating information in a visual format. This demo will introduce you to these shapes and what they’re used for.
