Roadmap: Publish Visio drawings to a SharePoint site

If you have to share your Visio drawing with other people who do not have Visio, you can publish your Visio drawing to a SharePoint site by using Visio Services. This is ideal when you have to share a Visio drawing with a large organization.

Requirements for Visio Services

Visio Graphic Services are available only on SharePoint Server 2010 Enterprise Client Access License (ECAL) and must be deployed, provisioned, and enabled in order to be used.

In addition, you must have Microsoft Visio Professional 2010 or Microsoft Visio Premium 2010 in order to save to SharePoint.

For more information about what you must do to enable Visio Services on a SharePoint site, see Visio Graphics Service administration.
