- Select the timeline, then, on the Shape menu, point to Rotate or Flip, and then click the appropriate command.
Tip You can also click the Pointer tool (set to Area Select or Lasso Select), drag a selection net around the timeline shape(s), and then release the mouse button. Drag the rotation handle until the timeline is at the angle you want. Text and markers on the timeline automatically rotate with the timeline.
- An expanded timeline automatically changes orientation with its parent timeline; you cannot change the orientation of an expanded timeline independently.
- If the timeline extends beyond the drawing page, you can change the page orientation. On the File menu, click Page Setup. On the Print Setup tab, under Page Orientation, click Portrait or Landscape.
