It isn't always easy to choose colors that complement and enhance one another. And it can be time consuming to apply colors individually to different parts of a diagram. Applying a color scheme:
- Gives a consistent, predefined color design to all the content in your diagram.
- Applies color to every new shape that you add according to the design.
You can change all colors simultaneously by applying a new color scheme.
To apply a color scheme to a diagram
- Right-click the drawing page, and then click Color Schemes.
Note Color schemes are not available for Office Layouts, Directional Maps, and certain other Visio 2002 drawing types.
- Click a color scheme, and then click Apply to see how the colors look.
- When you find the color scheme you want, click OK.
To remove a color scheme
- Right-click the drawing page, and then click Color Schemes.
- Click Black & White, and then click OK.
