A background design can make your diagram look better, reinforce its message, and clarify its intention.
To find and add a background design
- Open the diagram you want to add the design to.
- On the File menu, point to Stencils, and then click Open Stencils.
- Double-click the Visio Extras folder, click Backgrounds.vss, and then click Open.
- Drag the design you want onto your drawing page.
- Click Yes when Visio asks if you want the shape to be the background image for the page.
To apply a color scheme
- Right-click the drawing page, and then click Color Schemes.
- Click a color scheme, and then click Apply to see how the colors look.
- When you find one you want, click OK.
