It's important to keep in mind that when you insert a table in the Design view, FrontPage automatically generates the HTML code for you (see illustration).
Table tags The entire table is enclosed within the
Table row tags Each row is represented by the
Table data cell tags Within the row tags are the cells. They are represented by the
</td> tags. If a cell has data (text, pictures, etc.) then the data is inserted in between these two tags. In this example, "A," "B," "C," and "D" are the table data.
Note The tags explained in this course are the basic tags that Microsoft FrontPage uses. There are other useful tags, including ones that can make tables accessible to people with disabilities.
