Send e-mail messages to your contacts through Outlook.
Your ad campaign is for a new product that is set to be launched in the marketplace. All the preparations are complete, and you want to inform William. You check whether William is available for a quick chat, but see that he's busy. Therefore, you decide to send him an e-mail message from the Communicator 2007 window to update him about the status of the ad campaign.
Communicator 2007 integrates with Outlook to provide the benefit of sending e-mail messages directly to your Communicator contacts. To send an e-mail message to your contacts from the Communicator window, do the following:
- In the Contact List, right-click the contact's name.
- On the menu that appears, click Send an E-mail Message.
You can also send an e-mail message to your contacts if you are in an IM session with those contacts. To do so, in the Conversation window, right-click the contact name, and then click Send an E-mail Message.
