In your new database, you’ll most likely see the security shield
and a security warning in the Message Bar, the area between the Ribbon and the database. (If you've saved your database to a trusted location, you will not see the security alert.) Access disables content that could be dangerous to your computer, such as macros. Most Access database templates contain at least one macro.
Click Options in the Message Bar and then click Enable this content each time you open the template. Or, you can set up a trusted location. Learn how to do that in Security I: How the 2007 Office system helps you to stay safer.
