About this course

This course includes:

  • Three self-paced lessons and three practice sessions for hands-on experience.
  • A short test at the end of each lesson; tests are not scored.
  • A Quick Reference Card you can take away from the course.

Goals

After completing this course you will be able to:

  • Fit any drawing (or part of a drawing) to large size paper and print it.
  • Print a drawing that is large on the screen to letter size paper.
  • Set up the drawing page, printed page, and printer.

Have you ever wanted to print a Visio drawing to a large size so you could post it on a wall for display? Or, have you ever been faced with printing a large drawing, such as a space plan, to a desktop printer that supports only letter size pages?

Printing tasks like these are simple, once you understand a few basic principles about the drawing page, the printed page, and the printer.

This course introduces you to these principles, and then shows you how to apply them, so you can set up a printer and the Visio drawing page to get exactly the results you want with every drawing you print.

To learn more about this course, read the overview in the center of this page or the table of contents in the left column. Then click Next to start the first lesson.
