Try recording audio and video notes, and attempt the impossible by writing and talking at the same time. You may prefer to ask a colleague to help by getting him or her to talk while you write — it will only take a few seconds.
Note You will need a microphone and camera for the second exercise to be able to complete this practice session. If you need help in setting up the camera or microphone, refer to the Quick Reference Card. If you've never used the camera or microphone, you might want to test them to make sure they're positioned to record clearly.
About the practice session
When you click Practice in OneNote, OneNote will open and a separate window with practice instructions will appear alongside (see picture).
Note You need to have OneNote 2003 installed on your computer.
- If the practice instructions aren't visible, or disappear when you click in OneNote, click the OneNote Help taskbar button and then click the Auto Tile button on the upper-left corner of the instructions.
- If the practice instructions cover up OneNote, click the Auto Tile button on the upper-left corner of the instructions.
Before you begin
Make sure to close OneNote if it is already running.
Start the practice
Click the Practice in OneNote button now.
