If you frequently return to a particular cell or range of cells, give that cell or cell range a name. Then you can quickly return to that area of the worksheet by using that name.
To apply a name, select the cell or cell range. Then think of a descriptive name that will remind you of the contents of a particular cell — for example, InStock, or even Bob. Type this name in the Name Box to the left of the Formula Bar at the top of the worksheet, and then press ENTER. You can't use spaces in the name, or punctuation. If you want a space between words, you can use an underscore (_) between the words.
When you need to return to that spot, click the arrow beside the Name Box, and then click the name of the area that you want to go to. The insertion point zips straight to the correct spot before you can say, "Bob's your uncle."
