Invite people with Meet Now and Outlook.
To start a Live Meeting right away:
- Open Live Meeting 2007. If you see the User Accounts dialog box, sign in using the steps described in the previous lesson of this course.
- Click Meet Now. You will see a note that you are now connecting to the meeting that you have started.
- Click Meeting and then click Invite. You will see two choices for ways to invite people: by e-mail, or by telephone.
If you choose By E-mail, Outlook will create a meeting invitation, similar to the invitation described in the previous lesson of this course. If you choose Call Someone, your telephone conference service will start a call.
Note Always invite yourself too, so that you have the e-mail message containing the Join the meeting link. (You'll see it in the practice session.) That link is the fastest way for you to rejoin or review the meeting later.
