Live Meeting 2007: Presenter's companion

Permissions button opening Attendee Permissions dialog box

Assign permissions to the attendees.

You want to define the permissions for the attendees so that they can perform specific tasks, such as asking questions, accessing the content, and interacting with other attendees during the orientation program. You can use these permissions to control access to the meeting content and also to define the pace of the meeting.

To manage attendee permissions, you need to sign in as a presenter and do the following:

  1. In the Attendees pane, click the More icon, and then click Permissions. This displays the Attendee Permissions dialog box.

Note    If you don't see the Attendees pane, click the Attendees menu on the menu bar. This displays the Attendees pane.

  1. To assign the required permissions, select or clear the check boxes next to the various permissions.

You can define permissions to allow the attendees to ask questions, interact with the presenter and other attendees, use the content tools to create and edit documents, upload handouts, and share notes. It is a good practice to review these settings before the meeting begins. However, as a presenter, you can change the permissions at any time during the meeting. Your changes will take effect immediately.
