Before you begin

To make the best use of this course, you need access to your Live Meeting account. We recommend that you complete the online course Get to Know Live Meeting 2007 or familiarize yourself with the basic functionality of the 2007 version of Live Meeting.

Note    Your instructions may vary slightly, depending on whether Live Meeting is deployed at your company as a service or as part of Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007.

As a human resources manager, you need to conduct an orientation program for the new hires to familiarize them with the organizational structure and various organizational policies and benefits.

Historically, you have used the traditional classroom method to conduct these orientation sessions. However, you are now looking for a cost-effective and reliable way to bring together people from different locations.

Your organization is already using Live Meeting to conduct customer sales trainings and other collaborative meetings, and the results have been encouraging. Therefore, you decide to use Live Meeting to deliver the new hire orientation program simultaneously across the globe.

This course describes how you can use Live Meeting collaborative tools to turn meeting attendees into meeting participants.
