A formula used to find out the variance based on a range, in this case B8 to B75.
If you can use any function in Excel, you can use a statistics function. They are written in the same way:
- Always start with an equal sign (=).
- Then the function name.
- Then the arguments in parentheses.
With statistical formulas the arguments are frequently a range, as you can see in the picture on the left.
