We showed you how you can open the expanded Styles gallery to see additional styles. But to delve even deeper into styles, this is what you do:

Open the
Styles task pane, shown above in the picture, by clicking the
Styles Dialog Box Launcher (the small arrow at the bottom of the
Styles group on the
Home tab of the Ribbon).

In this task pane, you can choose additional styles for the document, learn more about their attributes, and change styles. (We'll cover this later.) To change how these styles are displayed, in the bottom right corner of the
Styles task pane select
Options.

You can opt to show only the styles that are used in the current document or view all styles.
