In templates, graphics are often placed in text boxes (text box: A movable, resizable container for text or graphics. Use text boxes to position several blocks of text on a page or to give text a different orientation from other text in the document.)for easy positioning. Text boxes that contain graphics or text often do not have borders showing, so it may not be apparent that an item is placed within a text box. The key to working with graphics within text boxes is to know when to select the actual graphic and when to select the text box that contains it.
