This sample document provides direction and scope of the project and can be used as a contract between the Project Manager and the Project board. It can act as a base document against which the Project Board and Project Manager can assess progress, track issues, and onging viability questions. It can also be used as a single source of reference about a project so that people joining the team can quickly and easily find out what the project is about and how it is being managed.
