Sometimes I can’t open a notebook from a SharePoint site. What’s wrong?

It could be because of the notebook’s short URL, which doesn’t work on an Android phone. You can only open notebooks showing the complete SharePoint URL looking something like this: <onenote: name/>.

If you don’t have the complete URL, try opening this notebook on another non-Android device.

What are Quick Notes?

Quick Notes is the electronic equivalent of the little yellow sticky note, which are instantly saved as a section in <your name> Notebook. OneNote uses both the Quick Notes and <your name> Notebook to properly sync your notes to OneDrive. For this reason, neither the <your name> Notebook nor its “Quick Notes” section should be deleted or renamed.
