If you sync your SkyDrive to your computer, you can always find it quickly as follows:
- Click the SkyDrive Pro taskbar icon.
- Click Open your SkyDrive Pro folder:
Note If you don’t sync your SkyDrive but sync other SharePoint libraries, SkyDrive Pro opens the first library you synced when you use this command.
Find libraries you’ve synced in Windows Explorer
When you sync a SharePoint library to your computer, SkyDrive Pro creates a folder in your Windows “Users” folder, for example: c:\Users\username.
Note the following details:
- When you sync your SkyDrive, SkyDrive Pro places it in a folder named “SkyDrive Pro” or “SkyDrive @CompanyName.”
- When you sync a library on another site such as a team site, SkyDrive Pro creates a folder using the name of the library, and places it in “SharePoint Libraries.”
Both folders are automatically listed in your Windows favorites.
Note You may also see a “SkyDrive” folder in your Windows favorites. This is Microsoft SkyDrive, the consumer program that provides free space in the cloud for you to store and access files, photos, and Microsoft Office documents, and is not related to SkyDrive Pro, which syncs SharePoint documents.
