Huge Improvement to My Workflow

I've used Poll Everywhere for livening up my presentations for years (audiences love it). This app is a huge step forward in simplifying how I create my presentations; basic question creation and insertion into the presentation can be done straight from PowerPoint.
Hopefully, future updates will support all of the Poll Everywhere editing options. It would be great to be able to enter more complex option choices and configure the response settings straight from PowerPoint as well.

Audience loved it, easy to use

I used the App for a presentation in front of about 35 people. I had practiced multiple times but was nervous doing it live.
It was super easy to use and set up 'on the fly' as they call it. The audience responded and getting feedback (seeing how the audience responded) actually helped me decide how much time to spend on certain topics.
The only thing I wish I could do is: get word clouds from the home screen. It would be a nice feature to add.
After the talk I actually had a few people come up and ask me about the questions! They said it made the event feel more personal and interactive.
I will definitely be using this again.

No more zoned out audience

With this app you can have an audience vote on things, or ask for their opinions as short tweet-sized answers. It was very easy to use, but you need to use the PollEverywhere.com site to edit the questions after making them. It's a slight annoyance, but pretty easy.
The product is free for the first 40 responses to any question. That's good enough to take a decent sample of opinions, and more than enough for discussion generators.
So far I've played with the following:
- pre-tests to measure where the room's knowledge is at
- live word clouds from my audience's thoughts
- running contests where the audience submit the ideas, then votes
I *really* like how this distracts my audience from being distracted by web/email.

Great App!

Having a real-time poll in the middle of a live presentation is an awesome way to drive audience participation (and, of course, gather valuable information about your audience).
I saw this demoed at the Microsoft SharePoint Conference and used it the next day in a presentation I was giving at a different event. Set up is easy and while the editing experience isn't 100% intuitive and changing the chart settings is a bit of a kludge, it's a great rev 1 and is immediately useful.

This app makes it insanely easy to add polls to a presentation. I really like how the polls take on the same look and feel as the office theme I've selected.
The only downside is that I can't edit the poll from within PowerPoint, but there is a link that opens my browser so that I can edit the poll.

Conference Rockstar!

I've been using Poll Everywhere since December and have really fallen in love with the technology. The service allows you to ask your audience questions (referred to as "polls") and get immediate feedback. We originally set it up as a way for the audience to ask the speaker questions on stage in real time.
As I started playing around with it I realized what a gem it truly was. The audience loves the interactive questions and the live updating graph of their results. The technology is not difficult to figure out and makes me look like a total rockstar on stage. Two thumbs up

Audience can respond on cell phones

This is great if you have a presentation and want audience feedback. They can use their cell phones to respond. You can even build a quick poll in Powerpoint without needing to login to the Poll Everywhere website. This is great, and just works.
