Deleting Active Directory Server

To remove a server from the set of servers used as sources when importing user profiles from Microsoft Active Directory directory service, you must delete the Active Directory server from the list of Active Directory connections.

Deleting a server from this list of connections does not delete any of the content on that server. It just removes the connection to the server. User profiles found only on that Active Directory server are not imported.

  1. On the Site Settings page, in the User Profile, Audiences, and Personal Sites section, click Manage profile database.
  2. On the Manage Profile Database page, in the Profile and Import Settings section, click Manage connections.
  3. On the Manage Connections page, rest the pointer on the server you want to delete, and then click Delete on the menu that appears.

Note  For more information about the Manage Connections page, see Managing Active Directory Connections.

  4. On the confirmation message that appears, click OK.
