Listing and Managing Document Libraries
 

You can use the List and Manage Document Libraries page to create a backward-compatible document library (Web Storage System-based), connect to or disconnect from the configuration database, change document library settings, and go to a document library.

List and manage document libraries

  1. On the SharePoint Portal Server Central Administration for server_name page, in the Component Configuration section, click Configure document libraries (Web Storage System-based).
  2. On the List and Manage Document Libraries page, do one of the following:

    ShowCreate a document library

    Click Create document library, and then follow the steps in Creating a Document Library.

    ShowConnect the document library to the configuration database

    Click Connect, and then follow the steps in Connecting a Document Library to the Configuration Database.

    ShowDisconnect the document library from the configuration database

    Click Disconnect, and then follow the steps in Disconnecting a Document Library from the Configuration Database.

    ShowGo to the Change Document Library Settings page

    Click Edit for the document library that you want to change.

    Click the link for the document library that you want to go to.
