Adding a reply topic in a 2010 Discussion

  1. Select the topic you want to reply to.

This topic can be a main topic or another, existing reply to a main topic.

  1. Click New and then click Reply.

A Reply form displays containing a fixed header with the title of the parent topic.

  1. Fill out the rest of the form just as you would for a main topic, and click Save.

In the view, the title for the Reply topic uses approximately the first 75 characters of the topic's body text.
