Filter Web Parts are particularly useful when working with business intelligence data. Filter Web Parts are configured to display a dynamic set of filtered data. You use them to connect to several data sources: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services data, SharePoint lists, the Business Data Catalog (BDC), and data in a Microsoft Office Excel Web Access Web Part workbook. The example shown in this video shows how two types of Filter Web Parts interact with two Excel Web Access Web Parts to display data from a xlst_excel12 workbook.
