View your My Site by using your privacy categories

By using privacy settings on the content of your My Site public profile page, the view of the page changes based on who sees it. This topic describes how to view your public profile page the way each people in the four privacy categories views it.

View your public page by using privacy categories

  1. On any SharePoint site, in the upper right corner, click My Site.
  2. Click My Profile
  3. In the upper-right corner of the page, in the As seen by box, click one of the following:
This category Shows this view
Everyone Everyone with permissions to view your My Site.
My Colleagues By default, this category includes your manager, your peers, and your direct reports. This category includes anyone currently listed on your My Colleagues page.
My Work Group By default, only your manager, your peers, and your direct reports are in your Workgroup. This category also includes colleagues you have added by using the Add Colleagues to My Workgroup option. New colleagues are not automatically added to your Workgroup.
My Manager Your direct manager.
