In a SharePoint list, how can you make sure a column is using the right data type?

Select the List tab and click List Settings. Then select Title, description and navigation.

Select the List tab, click List Settings, and then locate the Type column.

Rest the pointer over the column header in the list. A ToolTip will appear, showing you the data type.

Right-click the column, and then choose Format Cells.

A column in your list is named “SKU Number,” but it doesn’t look right. Its values contain a comma, for example: 110,840. You don’t want the comma. How do you fix this?

Change the type to Single line of Text.

Change the type to Number.

Change the type to Currency.

Change the type to Yes/No.
