Check the spelling on a page

The HTML Editor provides a spelling checker that you can use to check the spelling of page content.

  1. Navigate to the page that contains the content whose spelling you want to check. You must have contribute permissions for the page in order to use the spelling checker.
  2. On the Site Actions menu, click Edit Page. The page is checked out to you and opens in edit mode.
  3. In the Page Content section, click Edit Content. The HTML Editor opens and displays the page content.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • Press F7.
    • On the HTML Editor toolbar, click Spelling Checker Button Image.
