Get Help for a SharePoint app you installed

The quickest way to get Help for an app is to view its properties on the Site Contents page and click the Help link that appears there.

  1. Go to Settings Settings button > Site contents.

    If you accessed the Help topic that you are reading now by clicking Help from the app page, then the Settings menu will not be available. Click the name of the site you are on in the upper left-hand corner of the page to leave the app page, and then click Settings.
  2. Under Lists, Libraries, and other Apps, find the app for which you want to view Help.
  3. Point to the app, click the ellipses Button image and then click Help in the callout.

If you do not see a Help link, then the developer who created your app has not made Help available for the app. If you see an About link, you can also click that to view additional information about the app.
