The Pack and Go Wizard targets the A:\ drive (floppy disk) by default. To save your publication to another location, click Browse, and then navigate to the location you want.
You can save your packed publication directly to the type of media you will use to take it to your commercial printer. It is important to ask your commercial printing service what kind of media they prefer. For example, if your printer uses Publisher running on a Windows emulator on a Macintosh computer, they will likely not have a floppy disk drive, so another type of media, such as CD, may be more appropriate.
It is also important to take into consideration the size of your publication — including linked graphics and embedded fonts — when determining how you will transport the packed publication to your commercial printer. If the publication is 100 pages or more and includes several large pictures, you will need to use something like a CD-ROM or Zip disk, or save the packed publication to multiple floppy disks.
