A Visio drawing inserted into Word can be resized and positioned within text just like any other picture.
If you're familiar with dealing with graphics in Word, you'll know how to do this (if not, you can take the course Add graphics and keep them where you want them. Some of the most common procedures are:
- Resizing and positioning the drawing.
- Positioning the drawing in text so that the text wraps as desired.
- Copying, grouping, and rotating the drawing on the drawing canvas.
Using the Word drawing canvas You can't place Visio drawings on the drawing canvas in Word. Therefore, you can't group or rotate them. If you want to use this feature of Word, you must paste the drawing as a picture by using the Paste Special method.
