Change the way pictures, WordArt, and OLE objects are displayed

  1. On the View menu, click Pictures.
  2. In the Picture Display dialog box, select the option you want.
  3. Click OK.

Note   If you print your publication while Fast resize and zoom is selected, Microsoft Publisher prints the pictures (picture: A file (such as a metafile) that you can ungroup and manipulate as two or more objects or a file that stays as a single object (such as bitmaps).), WordArt (WordArt: Text objects you create with ready-made effects to which you can apply additional formatting options.), or OLE objects (OLE: A program-integration technology that you can use to share information between programs. All Office programs support OLE, so you can share information through linked and embedded objects.) at their original resolution. If you print your publication while Hide pictures is selected, Publisher asks if you want to print the pictures. Click Yes to continue.
