Recall a timesheet

If you submit, reject, or approve a timesheet (timesheet: In Project Web Access, the timesheet is a page where resources can record their progress on tasks and send updates to the project manager.) and then realize that you made a mistake or need to add a comment, you can recall the timesheet if it has not yet received approval from the final reviewer in the approval chain. Only timesheets with a status of Submitted or Acceptable can be recalled.

Note   If you are the final reviewer in the approval chain and the timesheet is marked as Processed, it has already been processed and changes cannot be made through Microsoft Office Project Web Access. A third-party tool now owns the data.

Recall a submitted timesheet as a timesheet owner

  1. On the Quick Launch, under My Work, click Timesheet Center.
  2. In the list of timesheets, select the timesheet that you want to recall.
  3. Click Actions, and then click Recall Timesheet.
  4. Click Yes to recall the timesheet.

Recall a submitted timesheet as a timesheet approver

  1. On the Quick Launch, under Approvals, click Timesheet.
  2. In the filter area of the Review My Timesheets page, click Approved By Me.
  3. Select date or resource filter options, or both, as appropriate.

Note   For more information on filter options, see Change how you display (or find) information in a timesheet.

  4. In the list of timesheets, select the check box next to the timesheet that you want to recall.
  5. Click Recall to recall the timesheet.

ShowWhy can't I perform some actions in Microsoft Office Project Web Access?

Depending on the permissions settings you used to log on to Project Web Access, you may not be able to see or use certain features. Also, what you see on some pages may differ from what is documented if your server administrator customized Project Web Access and did not customize the Help to match.
