If you keep a list of tasks in Microsoft Office Outlook, you can easily import all or some of its tasks into Microsoft Office Project.
- In Project, on the Tools menu, click Import Outlook Tasks.
- In the Import Outlook Tasks dialog box, select the tasks that you want to import.
- Click OK to import the tasks into the current project.
- In Project, schedule the tasks as needed.
Notes
- Tasks are appended to any existing tasks in the current project. If the project does not contain tasks, a new task list is created.
- Only the task name, notes, and duration are imported. Task dates are not imported.
- When you import tasks from Outlook, no connection is maintained between Outlook and Project. The tasks are simply copied to your project.
