Watch this: Create a project from a template

You can use project templates (template: A Project file format [*.mpt] that lets you reuse existing schedules as the starting point for creating new schedules. Task and resource information, formatting, macros, and project-specific settings can all become part of a template.) as a starting point for creating new projects. Microsoft Office Project 2007 comes with several templates, and you can download additional templates from Microsoft Office Online. Your organization may have its own templates, or you may have created some for your personal use.

In this demo, I create a project using one of the templates that is installed with Project 2007.
