Wrap text by changing row height

The quickest way to wrap text in a cell is to increase the height of the row that contains that cell.

In any sheet view, drag the bottom of the row heading (the leftmost cell) down until the text wraps onto the next line.

Row heading

To unwrap text, drag the bottom border of the row heading up until the text is on one line again.

Wrap text in a column

Project 2013 automatically wraps text in the Task Name column, but you can wrap text in other columns as well.

  1. Pick a view that contains a table (except the Team Planner).
  2. Right-click the column heading, and then click Wrap Text.

Note    Project wraps text if it is longer than the column width and has at least one space. It doesn’t recognize manual line breaks.
