Learn More
The TeamStatus Pending field indicates whether you've received a response to a progress request you've sent to a resource about assigned tasks.
There are several categories of TeamStatus Pending fields. Learn more about field categories.
Data Type Yes/No (Yes/No field: A type of field with content set to either Yes or No; also known as a Boolean field or a True/False field. For example, the Recurring field indicates whether the task is a recurring task.)
TeamStatus Pending (resource field)
Entry Type Calculated (calculated field: A field in which the value is determined by Project based on information in other fields. Project may recalculate the value automatically or when you specify, depending on your choice of calculation settings.)
How Calculated As soon as you send a progress request to a resource by clicking Request Progress Information, Project enters a Yes in the TeamStatus Pending field for the resource. When you've received responses to all progress requests for this resource, the Yes changes to No.
Best Uses Add the TeamStatus Pending field to a resource view to see the resources that you still need to receive progress updates from.
Example You would like to have all progress information sent to you at the end of each week. Review this field and follow up with any resources that have yet to send in their progress information.
TeamStatus Pending (assignment field)
Entry Type Calculated or entered (calculated or entered field: A field in which the value is determined by Project based on information in other fields. Information that you enter in the field yourself overrides calculated values.)
How Calculated As soon as you send a progress request to a resource regarding an assigned task by clicking Request Progress Information, the TeamStatus Pending field for the assignment is set to Yes. As soon as you receive the progress update you requested, the Yes changes to No.
Best Uses Add the TeamStatus Pending field to the sheet portion of the Task Usage or Resource Usage view to track the assignments that you still need progress information for. You can also change the setting in the TeamStatus Pending field manually. This can be useful if you know that an assigned resource is unavailable and won't be able to send you progress information.
Example You're waiting to receive progress information from a resource, and then you remember that the person is working at a trade show in another city. You change the TeamStatus Pending field to No.
