Description The Resource Name field contains the name of the resource to which an assignment belongs.
How Calculated The content of the Resource Name field is equivalent to the Name field for resources.
Best Uses Add the Resource Name field to the Task Usage view when you want to display or filter for the resource names for assignments. The Resource Name field shows all resource names in the task row, along with assignment units (if not 100 percent), for everyone who is assigned to the task. This field is available only in the Task Usage view.
Example You want to display information about assigned resources. You switch to the Task Usage view, and review the names in the Resource Name field.
