 Notes

  • To completely remove a header, footer, or legend, you must remove all text from the left, center, and right sides of the page.
  • Instead of deleting the information in a legend, you can simply suppress the legend to prevent it from printing. On the File menu, click Page Setup, and then click the Legend tab. Under Legend on, click None. You can also choose to have the legend appear on every page or on its own page by clicking Every page or Legend page.
  • The header and footer that you set appears on every page. You cannot specify that they appear differently on the first page versus subsequent pages, appear differently on odd or even pages, or appear differently on individual pages.
