When you print a Microsoft Office Project view, you can also print the notes (note: Explanatory text that you can attach to a task, resource, or assignment.) that are most closely associated with the view (view: The combination of one or more views [Gantt Chart, Resource Sheet, and so on] and if applicable, a table and a filter. Use views to work with information in a variety of formats. There are three types of views: Charts or graphs, Sheets, and Forms.). For example, if you choose to print notes when you print the Gantt Chart view, then the task (task: An activity that has a beginning and an end. Project plans are made up of tasks.) notes are printed.
- On the View menu, click the view you want.
If you want to use a view that is not on the View menu, click More Views, click the view you want to use in the Views list, and then click Apply.
- On the File menu, click Page Setup, and then click the View tab.
- Select the Print notes check box.
- Click Print.
Note If you use the Print button, the information is directly sent to the printer without the option to preview what you are about to print.
