Accessibility limitations in Project

Microsoft Office Project 2003 supports accessibility with the following exceptions:

ShowLimited accessibility to features

  • Project does not support keyboard access for pop-up menus using the Application key (on the Microsoft Natural Keyboard only) and SHIFT+F10.
  • The Microsoft EasyBall does not have a right mouse button. To make Project more usable for EasyBall users, you can customize or create new menu bars and command bars to include commonly used commands or buttons. For more information, use the Search feature of Help to find out how to customize or create new menu bars or command bars.
  • Tabbed dialog boxes contain tabs that may not be accessible to screen readers, especially screen readers that do not use Microsoft Active Accessibility (MSAA) (MSAA: A technology that improves the way programs and the operating system work with accessibility aids, such as screen readers.). To navigate between tabs, press the TAB key until the tab you want is selected, and then press the RIGHT ARROW and LEFT ARROW keys to select a different tab. In dialog boxes with multiple rows of tabs, press the UP ARROW and DOWN ARROW keys to select a tab in a different row.
