Change a table border
 

Use this process to modify Microsoft PowerPoint tables. Use the source program's (source program: The program used to create a linked object or embedded object. To edit the object, you must have the source program installed on your computer.) Help for information about modifying tables that were created with another program.

  1. If the Tables and Borders toolbar (toolbar: A bar with buttons and options that you use to carry out commands. To display a toolbar, click Customize on the Tools menu, and then click the Toolbars tab.) is not displayed, click Tables and Borders Button image on the Standard toolbar.
  2. Do any or all of the following:

    ShowChange the style of the border

    1. Click the arrow next to Border Style Button image, and then select the style you want. To remove a border, click No Border.

    2. The pointer changes to a pencil.

    3. Click the borders you want to change.

    ShowChange the width of the border

    1. Click the arrow next to Border Width Button image and then select a width.

    2. The pointer changes to a pencil.

    3. Click the borders you want to change.

    ShowChange the color of the border

    1. Click Border Color Button image and then select a color.

    2. The pointer changes to a pencil.

    3. Click the borders you want to change.
