Save a slide, background, or object as a picture
 

Do one of the following:

ShowSave a slide as a picture

  1. Display the slide you want to save as a picture (picture: A file (such as a metafile) that you can ungroup and manipulate as two or more objects, or a file that stays as a single object (such as bitmaps).).
  2. On the File menu, click Save As.
  3. In the Save as type list, select the graphics format you want, and then click Save.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • If you want to save only the current slide select Current Slide Only.
    • If you want to save every slide in a presentation select Every Slide.

ShowSave a textured or picture slide background as a picture

The Save Background menu option appears on the context menu only if texture or an image has been set as the background of the slide.
  1. Display the slide that has the background you want to save as a picture (picture: A file (such as a metafile) that you can ungroup and manipulate as two or more objects, or a file that stays as a single object (such as bitmaps).).
  2. Rest your pointer on the slide background outside of any placeholders.
  3. Right-click the slide and click Save Background.
  4. In the File name box, type a name for the slide background.
  5. In the Save as type list, select the graphics format you want, and then click Save.

ShowSave one or more objects as a picture

  1. Select one or more objects to save as a picture (picture: A file (such as a metafile) that you can ungroup and manipulate as two or more objects, or a file that stays as a single object (such as bitmaps).).
  2. Right-click the object or group and click Save as Picture.
  3. In the File name box, type a name for the object or group.
  4. In the Save as type list, select the graphics format you want, and then click Save.
