Start a movie or sound automatically or on mouse-click
 

The steps below are for movie or sound files on a slide that has no custom animation sequences or animation schemes (animation scheme: Adds preset visual effects to text on slides. Ranging from subtle to exciting, each scheme usually includes an effect for the slide title and an effect that is applied to bullets or paragraphs on a slide.).

  1. On the slide, right-click the sound icon Icon imageor movie.
  2. On the shortcut menu (shortcut menu: A menu that shows a list of commands relevant to a particular item. To display a shortcut menu, right-click an item or press SHIFT+F10.), click Custom Animation.
  3. Under Modify: Play in the Start box, click one of the following:
    • To play the sound or movie automatically, click With Previous.
    • To play the sound or movie when you click the mouse, click On Click.
