You know Joe's team just did a PowerPoint® 2000 presentation about product sales, and Sue's team also did a PowerPoint 2000 presentation on the research division. You would like to include their information in a presentation for your quarterly company-wide meeting. Rather than re-create all the slides you need, insert the critical slides from each group's presentation into your presentation.
To Insert a Slide from Another Presentation
- Select the slide after which you want to insert slides from another presentation. Slides are inserted into a presentation after the currently selected slide.
- On the Insert menu, click Slides from Files.
- In the Slide Finder dialog box, locate the presentation that contains the slide or slides you want.
- Do one of the following:
To insert an individual slide, select the slide you would like to insert, and then click Insert.
To insert the whole presentation, click Insert All.
- To continue inserting slides, return to step 3.
Before inserting another slide, verify that your presentation is open to the slide after which you want to insert slides from another presentation.
- When you are finished inserting slides, click Close in the Slide Finder dialog box.
Simulate the Use of Multiple Templates
Inserted slides take on the formatting of the main presentation.
