Here are some tips for creating notes pages in Microsoft PowerPoint®.
View notes in Print Preview
As you work on your notes in the notes pane, check them in print preview to see exactly how they will print by clicking Print Preview
on the Standard toolbar. You can also use this view to check your headers and footers for notes.
Keep notes from displaying in published Web pages
To prevent your notes from displaying when you publish a presentation as a Web page, do this: with your presentation (.ppt file) displayed in PowerPoint, on the File menu, click Save As Web Page, then click Publish; in the Publish as Web Page dialog box, clear the Display speaker notes check box, and when you're finished in the dialog box, click Publish.
View notes formatting
To see basic font formatting in the notes pane as you type, on the Standard toolbar, click Show Formatting
.
Add a picture to a notes page
To add a picture, AutoShape, or other type of object to only one notes page, on the View menu, click Notes Page, and then add the art.
Make global changes to the look of your notes
To make global changes to the look of your notes pages, such as changing the font formatting or adding a logo or other art, make the changes to the notes master. On the View menu, point to Master, and then click Notes Master.
