Now that you've gotten a sense of new timing possibilities, go a step further and use the Advanced Timeline. The Advanced Timeline, also known as the timeline, gives you another way to set time delays and speed for effects, and it has some advantages.
The timeline shows you the playing times, or durations, for the effects on a slide in the form of boxes that you can drag to change. So, to create a time delay, you could just drag a duration box to a later point in the timeline.
An added advantage is that you see other durations in the view as well, and can adjust them in relation to each other.
