When your default printer is a black and white printer, the default color command is Grayscale. Grayscale means various tones of gray combined with black and white. Slides print and preview in grayscale — with certain exceptions.
The biggest exception is the background. When you print in grayscale, the background and any graphics or detail it includes are hidden and print white.
The Grayscale command prints slide elements in white, black, or grayscale, as follows:
