After you create or modify a business rule or model variable in PerformancePoint Planning Business Modeler, you must deploy the rule or variable in the Model Summary workspace to make it available to other PerformancePoint Server applications.

 Important   Before you can deploy the rules that are contained in a particular model, you must first Deploy the model.

Deploy a rule or a variable

1. In the Planning Business Modeler Site Browser pane, click Models.
2. In the models workspace, double-click a model to open it.
3. If you have not yet checked out the model, click Checkout in the Model Tasks pane.
4. In the Model Tasks pane, click Deploy rules and variables.
