Find names using Find a contact on the Standard toolbar
- In the Find a contact box on the Standard
toolbar (toolbar: A bar with buttons and options that you use to carry out commands. To display a toolbar, press ALT and then SHIFT+F10.), type the name of the contact (contact: Person, inside or outside of your organization, about whom you can save several types of information, such as street and e-mail addresses, telephone and fax numbers, and Web page URLs.) you want to find. Microsoft Outlook will search all the available address books, including any you have added.
You can enter a partial name (such as Judy L), first or last name, "display as" name, e-mail alias, and company name. To quickly open a contact you have previously searched for, click the Find a contact arrow, and then click a name.

- On the Tools menu, click Address Book.
- In the Show names from the list, click the address book you want to search for names.
- In the Address Book dialog box, on the Tools menu, click Find, and then type the name for which you are searching.
